Apprentice Solicitor

Frances Wass

Frances joined Doyle Law as our first apprentice solicitor in September 2026. She is undertaking the Solicitor Higher Apprenticeship at Northumbria University.

Frances completed A-levels in Maths, Physics and Spanish. Her academic background has developed her strong analytical and problem-solving skills, while tutoring GCSE students in Maths and Science has strengthened her ability to communicate complex information clearly.

Before joining the firm, Frances completed work experience at Doyle Law, where she developed an interest in shipping law and its practical application. Originally from the North East, she also spent four months travelling throughout Asia and New Zealand. This experience developed her independence, confidence and adaptability, qualities that will support her as she progresses in her legal career.
